The local Home Watch has regular Newsletters to keep members updated with local security issues, subscriptions are only £1.00 per year, so join now! Members can borrow a property marking kit, so that post coded property can be returned to the owner when it's recovered.
Issues covered in the Newsletters include tips on avoiding thefts from cars e.g. remove all items from view and leave your empty glove compartment open - this especially applies to satellite navigation systems.

Energywatch is the independent gas and electricity watchdog set up in November 2000 through the Utility Act to protect and promote the interests of all gas and electricity consumers. They provide free, impartial information and advise and take up complaints on behalf of consumers who are experiencing difficulty in resolving problems with their energy companies.

This is currently a free service as uSwitch cover their costs by receiving a small commission from some of the suppliers, when a customer chooses to switch or apply for a product.
