FOOTBALL (YOUTH)

There are a couple of opportunities to play Youth Football in West Moors:-

The Youth Centre is on a Saturday morning  10.00 to 11.30am at Fryers Field.  Our Football club is  for children in reception and year one.   The Football morning has been running for 9 months  from Oct/Nov 2008.

 The morning starts off with some exercises and warm ups and then the training starts with coaches giving advice on all the skills of football. These sessions are great, as you practice different skills with your friends and fellow players. 

The morning  ends with a match where you put your skills into practice and beat the coaches.  The match would never end as every one is having fun, so the famous winning goal comes into operation!

The children can have an enjoyable game of football.

West Moors Youth Football - West Moors Youth Football club was formed in 1998.

For season 2009/2010 we have three teams:-     under 7's - year two at school. 

                                                                                    under 9's - year four at school.

                                                                                    under 10's - year five at school

During the 2008/2009 season our under 9's were divisional winners and will be promoted for the 2009/2010 season. 

The club presentation night is on the 10th July 2009  at West Moors Youth Club. All players from the 3 teams will receive trophies and  3 players from each team will win shields to mark the Player's Player of the season, Managers Player of the season and the Sportsman award.
