GIRLGUIDing
West Moors Guides and Rangers
West Moors Guides meet every Wednesday, between 0700pm and 0830pm in the West Moors Guide Hall and West Moors Rangers meet alternate Mondays.
We cover a wide range of activities and events. After Easter in 2007, we went boating on the Kennet and Avon Canal. It was a great experience, allowing us to enjoy a stay away on board a 12 berth boat for four nights. We did change the crew halfway through to enable as many as possible to enjoy the experience.
In August we had our annual camp at at Berwick St James in Wiltshire, where we enjoyed many activites, including a visit to Foxlease in the New Forest.
In 2005 we
visited Switzerland. We stayed for
10 days in Adelboden, one of the four World Centres for Guides and Girl Scouts.

We met up with lots of of other international groups and did so many wonderful things on this trip (too many to mention), it certainly did broaden our horizons.
Throughout the year we have many exciting events to learn new skills, meet new people and enjoy everything.
If you want to have fun, be challenged by new experiences, make new friends, get to see life - not only locally but on an International level, then you must be part of Girlguiding UK.
