We are an independent group of West Moors residents who have come
together to offer help to people in our community who would
appreciate a little assistance. .Our first aim is to set up a
car scheme offering door to door transport to enable residents
in need to attend Doctor/Hospital appointments, go to church, go
shopping or even visit friends.
Can you help? Do you have a car and can you spare some time as a volunteer driver? Could you spare a few hours a week to work from home answering the phone and coordinating the requests for transport and volunteer drivers?
We do pay expenses. - Drivers will need to fill in a claim form monthly and will receive expenses - 40p per mile plus car parking and subsistence where appropriate. Coordinators will receive full office expenses.
