WINE SOCIETY
| The Wimborne Wine Society
was created in 2003 and was formally a Wine Circle. Due to the ever
widening range of commercial wines available in the UK, it was
decided to concentrate on commercial wines only from around the
world. From this time, the club has expanded into a broad church of
members who enjoy tasting many and varied wines from around the
world, whilst gaining knowledge of the many grape varieties. Our mission is to cover a variety of subjects, with the main theme being centred on wine and related issues. The Society also welcomes invited speakers and our own members also present wine tasting sessions and other subjects. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the Allendale Centre Wimborne.
