women's institute

West Moors Women's Institute meets in the afternoon on the 1st Thursday of each month at 14.15 in the  West Moors Memorial Hall.  We total approximately fifty in number and are a friendly group of ladies ranging from the young, to the not quite so young!  

In our meetings  we usually have a guest speaker, covering a wide range of interesting topics from Medicine History, to the Arts.  We have a Craft group and at least once a year, if not three or four, we have arranged outings to places of interest.  We are a community minded group, we hold a party for the housebound in the area once a year, and aim to raise funds to support other various initiatives.
